• Remove your bandage in 1-2 hours.
• With clean hands, gently wash tattoo with antibacterial / unscented soap and warm water. Do not use anything abrasive.
• Pat dry with a clean paper towel and air dry for 15 minutes.
• When the tattoo is dry, apply a very thin coat of ointment to the tattoo. We recommend Aquaphor.
• Wash, dry, and apply ointment to the tattoo three to four time a day for the first three days.
• Ointment can be applied if the tattoo is feeling too stiff or too dry, but do not over moisturize the area. Your body will absorb what it needs in the area that it needs it.
• After 3 days, begin using a non-scented, dye-free lotion (such as Lubriderm or Curel) for 2 weeks.
• DO NOT touch, pick or scratch your new tattoo. Your fingers are dirty and your new tattoo should be treated as an open wound.
• Never soak or submerge your new tattoo in water. Absolutely no swimming for 2 weeks after receiving your new tattoo. (Swimming will void your free touch-up and YES, we will know).
• Keep your new tattoo out of the sun and stay out of tanning beds for 2 weeks.
